Christian Boltanski (French, born 1944).

Today i want to talk about Christian Boltanski, he is one of the most important artist of the current international scene, french sculptor, photographer, painter and filmmaker. His Christian mother and jewish father mark a spiritual course of his work. The influence of the Holocaust is fixed in intemate memory. His work is a fantastic escene of rigorous observation of life, full of deep memory. Through installations of fragile obects (photos, abandoned objects, clothes, shoes, tc) that was part of the belongings of people who have died, he try to find a clean way to treat the subject og death that obsesses him. Boltanski began making installations from a variety of materials and media, with light effects as integral components.
One example of that was the portrait photographs of jewish schoolchildren (taken in 1931) serve as a forceful reminder of the mass muerder of jews by the nazis. In the work of this artist he filled whole rooms and corridors with items of worn clothing as a way of prompting an involuntary association with the clothing depotsat concentration camps. Objects like that serve as mute tertimony to human experience asd suffering.

Some of the most important works of Boltanski was:
